Certificates of Good Standing

Please be advised the Clerk’s office can issue certificates for Florida Bar attorneys with the following statuses:

  • Member in Good Standing/Eligible to Practice Law in Florida
  • Member of the Judiciary
  • CLER Exempt
  • Inactive

Please be advised the Clerk’s office cannot issue certificates for paralegals or Florida Bar attorneys with the following statuses:

  • Authorized House Counsel
  • Delinquent-CLER
  • Delinquent-Fees
  • Retired/Lapsed
  • Deceased

Certificates of Good Standing

Please note that you will be expected to use a credit card upon hitting the Proceed button. If you are unable to pay by credit card, you will instead need to send a written letter request, a check, money order, or exact cash, and a self-addressed, stamped return envelope via mail to 500 South Duval Street, Attn: Clerk’s Office, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-1925. The cost per certificate is $7.00. Checks can be made payable to Clerk, Florida Supreme Court
